A very adult novel filled with juvenile conversations which might be typical of some relationships and, therefore, relatable. A fast moving tale which held my interest to the end. I do enjoy reading about a man meeting his kid for the first time and I think I missed the moment because he hardly reacted; I expected more. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable read. Needed more depth. It didn't get interesting until the very end of the book. I skimmed through this one, rather boring.
Great new series.. Has love, romance and hot sex. And i love the fact it evolves around one great family.looking forward to the rest of the Kapahu series!

Captivating!!! I read the whole thing in one sitting. The author does a great job of developing the characters and moves the storyline along quickly. I can't wait to read part two.

I was interested in reading this book because it was set in Hawaii and I'm familiar with it after living there for 10 years. I thought it was a good story, but it got a bit overwhelming, too. Lots of characters. I liked her family and how they protected and loved her. I'd read more of LDK Johnson's books.
